A Brooklyn man has been indicted in a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the death of 50-year-old Julio Torres on July 4. Michael R., 27, has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death, a felony. Fallsburg police were called around 6 a.m. by a cyclist who spotted Torres’ body near Pantel Electric Warehouse. Michael was charged several hours later when police and state troopers found his car parked outside a home in South Fallsburg.
