Sewage Smell Spoils Shul in Afula

Worshippers at the Chabad shul in Afula have been complaining recently of a strong smell coming from a drain in the yard. The smell has been so unpleasant that it is disturbing their davening. For the past few years, the drain has overflowed at the beginning of the winter. During such times, the windows in the shul have to be closed and the congregation finds it hard to concentrate on their davening. In desperation, Afula’s shluchim have approached the local press to help them find a suitable solution.
