Golders Green London - Council Spproved Residential Building as a Shul.

The small community in Golders Green London celebrated a victory yesterday, when the local council approved their application to use a residential building as a Shul.
Heichal Menachem has been relocated a number of times, and finally found premises at a central location on Golders Green Rd, in the heart of the Jewish community. But neighbours tried to block their bid to turn the building into a Shul with constant reports to the council of noise etc.
Rabbi YM Hertz, Rov of Anash in the area and Mr. Akiva Fehler, fought for the application in the council, while the community gathered signatures of locals to support the idea. Yesterday, at the hearing of the local planning committee, the application was approved by a vote of 5-2.
With permission in hand.
