Queens, NY - Two Under Arrest for Theft of 8 Sefer Torahs

Queens, NY - Arrests has been made in connection to the missing 8 sefer torahs from a synagogue in Kew Gardens, Queens.

The theft of the eight torahs - worth up to $400,000 - from a the Jewish Center of Kew Gardens Hills, donated to the synagogue over the last 67 years, was discovered last month during a Saturday’s prayer services.

NYPD of the 107 pct. Detective Squad, made the arrest of two people, and has B”H successfully recovered the 8 scrolls.
