Jewish Recovery Center Opens in Boca Raton, Florida

The Jewish Recovery Center is pleased to announce the opening of the first kosher rehabilitation house for men. This is after 2 years of housing a recovery house for women.

The Jewish Recovery Center (JRC) is a place where addicts who are fighting the same battle can count on emotional support and find a common bond in their Jewishness. It doesn't matter if you're observant, unaffiliated or somewhere in between – the JRC is there for you. You'll have a comfortable atmosphere for recovery meetings. You'll be able to grab a cup of coffee, socialize and even shoot a game or two of pool. You'll have access to a wide variety of Jewish reading material. And you can spend your contemplative moments in our on-site synagogue where services will take place regularly.

Whether it's alcohol, drugs or other addictions, addiction is a relentless foe. It ruins lives, shatters families and crushes dreams. For years, the Jewish community was reluctant to admit that addiction even existed among Jews. The painful truth, though, is that Jews are as susceptible to addiction as anyone. Acknowledging the problem is the first step to finding a solution.
