Israel: Another Travel Advisory for Sinai

Once again, the Counter-Terrorism Bureau has issued a travel warning, pointing to the dangers of traveling to Sinai for the upcoming Yomim Tovim. Officials are urging Israelis to be increasingly vigilant during their travels over the holiday season, a time period during which many Israelis opt to travel abroad.

Counter-terrorism officials have issued a number of warnings against traveling to Sinai over recent days, quoting credible intelligence data that terrorists are working to target Israelis in Sinai over Rosh Hashanah.

There have also been recent reports of plots that were foiled in Canada and other locations, and Israelis and Jews worldwide are advised to exhibit caution if traveling over the Yomim Tovim.
