Police denied that any incident of vandalism occurred at the cave of the Patriarchs on Friday.
They reached this conclusion after dispatching officer to the scene to following on line claims of vandalism. No formal complaint had been lodged and despite appeals by the police to the settler community heads in the area, no one came to speak with the police about the incident.
