Mayor Bloomberg Campaigns in Brooklyn for Councilman Simcha Felder

Brooklyn, NY – Councilman Simcha Felder, candidate for New York State Senate in the 21st District, was joined by Mayor Mike Bloomberg at the Midwood Senior Center in Brooklyn today to meet with seniors and discuss their issues. Mayor Bloomberg, who has endorsed Councilman Felder, addressed the crowd of seniors, encouraging them to vote for Felder in the September 9 Democratic Primary.
“New Yorkers admire Simcha’s independent spirit and common-sense approach to tough problems, and so do I. His leadership on the Council has played a big part in the success we’re enjoying today,” Mayor Bloomberg said. “Now we need his kind of leadership up in Albany. The upcoming primary is an important one and I encourage everyone to get out and vote.”
“It is an honor to have Mayor Bloomberg in Brooklyn to campaign with me,” said Councilman Felder. “He has great appeal among voters across the city because he thinks independently and works cooperatively to get the job done.”
