Sunday at about 10 AM people started streaming into The Chabad Shul in Bal Harbour, Florida run by Rabbi Sholom Ber Lipskar to participate in a dedication of a new Sefer Torah.After Shachris some 300 members of the community, members of the family that donated the Torah, friends and relatives filled up the auditorium where the Sofer finished off the final letters in the Sefer Torah that was donated by Meir Isaac and family in memory of his parents who were Holocaust survivors.
Afterwards all the Sifrei Torah in the synagogue were taken out of the Aron Kodesh and were handed to the members to perform Hakofos. It was one of the livliest sites Miami ever witnessed.
Following the Hakofos everyone sat down to a festive meal.
