Toys for Hospitalized Children Expands

The Toys for Hospitalized Children summer campaign reached 20 children's hospitals in 15 states, distributing thousands of toys and gifts to sick children. Toys for Hospitalized Children began in 1953 as a small, non-sectarian program of the National Committee for Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE). After more than fifty years of operating primarily in the New York Tri-state area, a national outreach program was launched to accommodate Children's Hospitals throughout the continental US. Currently, the program gives out 30,000 gifts and toys throughout the year.
