Ponovezh Yeshiva To Write Sefer Torah In Memory Of R' Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman

Bnei Brak, Israel -- A group of students at Ponovezh Yeshiva are forming an initiative to write a Sefer Torah L'Iluy Nishmas R' Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman. Last Shabbos marked the 39th Yahrtzeit of R' Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman. In response, a group called the "Vaad of Talmidim of the Rav of Ponovezh," with the support of the Ponovezh Yeshiva administration, are organizing the writing of a Sefer Torah L'Iluy Nishmas R' Kahaneman. Jews all over the world will be given the opportunity to sponsor a letter in the Sefer Torah.
