Parents Refuse Co-ed Classes at Netanya School

(IsraelNN.com) The parents of 27 third grade pupils at Tachkemoni School in Netanya have refused to send their kids to class since the start of the school year, because the school placed them in co-ed classes.

The pupils were enrolled in single sex classes until now.

"The school cannot force the parents to send their kids to co-ed classes when they enrolled in Torah-based classes," Smadar Segal, head of the municipal parents' council, said.
