(IsraelNN.com) Outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday afternoon that dividing Jerusalem is the solution to stop terrorist attacks similar to the attempted murder of soldiers by an eastern Jerusalem Arab who rammed his car into them. "No security service in the world can stop a terrorist who dreams at night" to attack the next morning, he said.
He declared, "Whoever talks about Jerusalem [should] remember that in the end, you have to let the Arabs live in their neighborhoods and let us live in ours. There are 270,000 Arabs in Jerusalem and that have the right to travel freely." The outgoing Prime Minister added that the government has discussed with legal authorities the proposal to tear down terrorists' houses "but nothing has happened."
