Late afternoon today, Thursday, girls walking home from school and mothers watching their play children in the park witnessed how the intersection, of Lefferts and Albany Ave flooded with scores of police cars and vans, and subsequently the arrest of a Black teen.
The suspect matched the description of a perp in an earlier incident involving a hand-gun, and when police tried to stop him for questioning he ‘mouthed off’ to cops and ran, after he was apprehend it was determined he wasn't involved in the earlier incident with the gun, however he was still arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and was later released.
