Crown Heights had an unexpected visitor yeasterday. Police Comissioner Raymond Kelly made a surprise visit to the neighborhood to check things out. Ever since the wave of violence that had gripped the neighborhood several months ago, Kelly promised to make frequent visits to Crown Heights to monitor the situation and that there is peace and quiet.Kelly was escorted by Chanina Sperlin and Nuchi Gross. Some believe that his visit to the city is connected to his gearing up to run for mayor.
