Crown Heights, NY - Off Duty Police Officer Injured in Crash

A bad crash left a car on a sidewalk with its driver injured. The incident happened in the intersection of Crown and Schenectady at around 1:00am last night, it appeared that one car struck the other and sent it out of control and onto the sidewalk. Hatzalah arrived on scene followed by police then FDNY who secured the vehicle, cutting the power from the battery and removed the ‘call box’ which lay in pieces underneath and all around the car. Hatzalah transported the driver to Kings County, and police began filling out the paperwork. Another car which was believed to have been involved in the accident fled the scene.
