Crown Heights, NY - A 66-Year-Old Man Beaten to Death in Crown Heights

Tuesday evening approximately 8:50pm an unidentified 66 year old black male was jumped, in front of 451 Kingston Ave. (bet Empire and Lefferts Blvds) by four younger Black males and was viciously beaten then dragged into the building and beaten again.
Police and emergency medical service were called and the unconsious victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, witnesses believe that the attack was planed, “it seemed as if the perpetrators were waiting for their victim”.
Numerous detectives and Police officers from the 71st Pct. arrived on scene and immediately secured the area with yellow crime scene tape, so they can thoroughly investigate.
Police inspector Peter Simonetti (new to the 71st Pct.) quickly responded to the scene along with the CPU team, and took charge, to make sure that no stone is left unturned.
We hope that the NYPD can resolve this crime quickly so that we can continue to feel safe on our streets.
