The home of the Gaon Av Beis Din of the Eidah Hachareidis in Yerushalayim, Rav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss, was broken into by thieves who stole various items and did damage to property. The burglary took place while Rav Weiss was out of the country, on his current visit to the United States.Police are investigating the break-in in hopes of finding the culprits.
Meanwhile, Rav Weiss continues his visit overseas. Today, he delivered a shiur at the Satmar Yeshiva Gedolah with the participation of Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum of Satmar. Also today, the Skverer Rebbe paid a visit to Rav Weiss in Williamsburg at the home of Rav Weiss’ son-in-law, Rav Binyomin Zvi Mallik, where he is staying.
Last night, Rav Weiss delivered a drasha at Khal Tiferes Yaakov in Flatbush.
