Borough Park, NY Dr. Benzion Twerski In His Own Words to Jewish website

For several days, I was approached by individuals, some stating that they would cross the street if they were to meet me while walking with their children. Others told me that they would not accept my child into their class if assigned. Others used euphemisms that I refuse to repeat. Family members were likewise confronted by all sorts of comments and phone calls. My married children had been told to fear ever getting shidduchim for their children. Basically, I was left to choose between abandoning my family for this mission, or to take the painful step that I did.

Too bad for the capitulation. Too bad for Am Yisrael. You, WE could have fought that. How? Here's one suggestion. Posting online the names of those who threatened. Never leaving your home alone, and your escort, or one of them walking several feet behind you ready to photograph your stalker for that also to be posted online. WE MUST FIGHT BACK. Our welfare, our survival is at stake. This intimidation strengthens the forces of evil.

let me tell you what this generation is missing!!! FAITH!! theres very little bitochon in our comunity. I had a family problem growing up and my parents were also told a good shidduch will be hard to find, let me tell you that i married a wonderful man with upmost middos and yiras shamaim with a heart of gold. Dont tell me who can or cant do a good shidduch, its all in Hashem's hands!!
