The Big Event II Moves Forward

The next Big Event has been officially been arranged and will take place at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Sheya Mendlowitz, the producer of the concert, will once again team up with Lipa Schmeltzer. According to Lipa Schmeltzer and the producers of the show, they have secured "the support and approval of Daas Torah." They also state that "Permission has been granted by a number of distinguished, chashuva rabbonim for Lipa" to perform at this event.

In other news, on Rosh Hashanah, Lipa Schmeltzer will be davening Shacharis for the amud at the Triske shul, under the leadership of Rav Yisroel Twerski.
