Beitar Beis Din: Those with Internet Not Accepted to Schools

The Beitar rabbinate has ruled that the children of families that have internet in their home will not be accepted to the city's schools. A proclamation stating as much was signed by rabbonim and posted throughout Beitar. Rav Tzvi Braverman, one of the city's rabbonim and a leading supporter of the initiative, said that the beis din running the city's affairs noticed that many of the problems they kept confronting concerning education, dropouts, tznius, shalom bayis and more were due to internet use.

Almost all the computers in chareidi institutions that were checked by professionals found entries to unacceptable websites, according to Rav Braverman.
