New Orleans Chabad Shluchim headed to Alabama and Georgia

New Orleans, LA - Faced with a mandatory evacuation due to Hurricane Gustav we learned that the local Shluchim and their families are headed to Birmingham, Alabama and Georgia where they will wait out the storm.
According to Rabbi Yochanon Rivkin Shliach @ Tulane University who spoke, albeit briefly, moments ago, there was going to be a Minyan for Mincha at 2:00pm after which if would be off to Alabama for the Rivkins and Kaufmans. The Nemes family is on the way to Atlanta, GA.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents of New Orleans and all of the Gulf Coast that Gustav spare them from any serious damage.
